I'm Michael Bilde, a Danish freelance journalist based in Bangkok, Thailand.

The short version: I got my BA in journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in 1995 and my MA from the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies in 1998.

After that, I worked for several leading print and online media in Denmark covering mostly business and finance, but also general news.

I decided to go freelance in 2003 and have since contributed to both Danish and international publications.

This domain is primarily used for my email, so there's not much to see here. But you're always welcome to contact me at bilde @ bilde dot com.
